Imaging Guide for Shadows

This guide, used by an internal retouching department, was created to help address several areas requiring improvement for shadows for silhouetted objects. These layouts are selected pages.

Work completed: Conceived, wrote and constructed document; recreated shadows to show natural density, softness and saturation; addressed consistency between multiple objects; created diagrams for calculating shadow size and placement.
